T2A Deluxe Baywindow – 1971

Project:

• Rust Free Oregon import (8 people)
• This car was purchased in Oregon as a failed project that the previous owner got stuck with

Interior:

• Interior is complete with sofas (but no side trim and headliner).

Technical:

• Runs, shifts and is driveable.
• Start with an emergency ignition switch and a separate external fuel tank.
• Wiring has been semi-dismantled and the dashboard and its controls, including lighting, windshield wipers, etc. will have to be reconnected.

Much renewed, including:

• Brakes Rear (new cylinders + lining + hoses)
• Brakes Front (new pads + hoses and brake callipers overhauled)
• New exhaust + rear shock absorbers, handbrake cables, battery and battery box.
• Engine refreshed and with some extra chrome parts.
• New oil, spark plugs, rotor, distributor cap, cables, ignition coil, valve cover gaskets, etc….

Documents:

• With its original instruction booklets. USA title. All import and VAT costs have been paid

Body:

• It is a Deluxe version (but the upper chrome mouldings are missing)
• The car was originally delivered in ocher yellow (this green paint is old and okay, but not nice up close).
• Beautiful example with a beautiful patina to drive as is, or to convert to your own wishes.
• The necessary welding has been carried out on the front bottom plate and in a few small places (see photos).
